It confused me for a long time that why there is a "Prima" after the model name.
I intent to buy a Yanagisawa soprano from Yahoo Japan, but I found a series named "Prima" , and I studied the history of Yanagisawa from official website but can't find any description of it. Could anybody teach me and that will be appreciated so much.

It’s one of the many “ names “ that Yanagisawa used in that period so that they could cover different markets.

the same sax existed also in the version without Prima, unlike the Elimona , which seemed to mark a special excellence, series there is no particular significance in the use of these names.

Yanagisawa also sold lots of stencilled horns under a plethora of names and for different makers
