  1. Embouchure & Tone Producing Basics
    Getting really frustrated with tenor. I can run the length of the horn on alto and make it sound pretty good, but tenor is something different. What am I missing? My embouchure has to be impossibly loose to get below E. I just can't get B or Bb.
  2. Happens too often, break in a new reed, and after the second gig this happens!! I like the sound of cane over synthetics, but cane regularly splits at the tip for me - this is annoying - it hasn't been hit or damaged externally - does this happen to anyone else, or am I just too rough for cane...
