There's a Leblanc ad on ebay with Corky Corcoran, tenor soloist with Harry James and Lionel Hampton. In the ad they mention his latest album 'Everywhere' which was recorded in 1973. The ad itself is from 1974. So anyway, these horns were still in production in the mid-seventies. Sadly I can't really make out any details about his horn from the picture in the ad. It's a nice read.

Edit: I did some googling on Corky Corcoran, he was a hell of a player.:)

I can see several details: the large humped upper octave key bar, the forked Eb breather key at the bottom of the stack, and just enough G.LEBLANC engraving on the bell. He says the (Paris) 120 is available for immediate delivery from your LeBlanc dealer!

Perhaps there weren't many on the dealer's shelf, but had to be special ordered. Maybe they could get you in the door and sell you one of those new-fangled Japanese Vitos, or something from Kenosha for a third of the price.
Well yes, I can see all that too. I meant I can't see if he's holding the model with the G-Sharp on the side or on the back, or any other details like that.

Even today, since Leblanc(Selmer) presumably still has a tie-in with the 'B' plant in France, sufficient $$$(BIG $$) might result in a NEW Model 100 alto or 120/tenor showing up on your doorstep.
You think so?
I might just order a spare then!

Welcome to SOTW.
Please post pictures of your horn. A scan of the manual would be nice too, since the manual that's available online seems to miss a page.
These are truly remarkable horns, but sadly very little is known about them in terms of serial/year of manufacturing. Your info about buying it new in 1967 is very valuable, as we've been trying to put some sort of serial number registry together.

Fremont, I was just looking through the spreadsheet. Nice work!
Got me thinking about the various differences between the System horns. Long/short pantsguard (only on tenors?) G# on the side or at the back, various neck brace designs, differences in the low B and Bb mech, and inserted rings in (some) toneholes. Maybe it's too late, but it would be nice to have all those variations recorded in the sheet as well?

Sorry, I was unclear. I just meant the LeBlancs had the option of the open Low C#. I did not mean they had the same mechanism closing the key when playing E. Should have made that clear.
My System tenor has a ring in the Low C tonehole, and I remember a post by Walter Webb about his horn having quite a few rings all over the horn.
