Yes, kind of a thin tenor sound, but no doubt a good player. Doesn't sound like Marienthal to me. If that is a MK VI, it looks like it just came out of the factory. It probably is one because of no high F#, although there are some new horns available without it.

 

Is Eric M. is the player who does the sax solos on "Theme from The Incredibles" a.k.a. "Glory Days" ?

 

I have a suspicion that the answer is yes... I can't confirm for sure, but I know that the Big Phat Band played along on that soundtrack and Gordon Goodwin did all the arranging, so I would not be surprised if Eric M. got the solos

That's John Yoakum playing tenor, he was also the alto player on 'the incredits.'
Michael Giacchino wrote the score, Goodwin arranged the end credits.

 

Thanks a lot for the info, I just caught up to it now.

I can't find much info on John other than his film/tv credits and some endorsements of his mouthpiece work. Does anyone know what is his usual setup on alto and tenor?
