Hi

Anyone heard of or tried this brand:
S.K.Y. Concert
by Julius Keilwerth

Interested to know where they are made. From what I found it is a name Keilwerth use for cheaper models. Made somewhere according to Keilwerth design. Build quality is mostly good (excellent fit of keys and rods, good design of key arms, etc.) with a bit of a problematic setup. I'm guessing Taiwanese? Anyone know where they are made and who makes them?

Thanks.

I am from Germany and I've got the s.k.y. concert Tenor horn. It's o.k., very easy going, acceptable intonation (also depending on the mpc and reeds you are using...). I guess they are made in Taiwan. I payed 549 Euros for it. Playing on it is a pleasure, but the sound is not so "fat" like a Yamaha, Selmer or Keilwerth professional or semi professional instruments. For beginners it's better than the Selmer Prelude instruments (horrible intonation, difficult for a beginner to get an acceptable satisfying sound out of it), but the same price category. I can research further informations, I only read this question today, I stumbled into this forum...
