well, the best is always vandoren, the biggest range i've seen so far.

La Flute de Pan has a huge range of sheet music for sax. Not sure how they compare to Vandoren for price though (the Vadoren shop was closed when I went to Paris). They are on Rue de Rome and here's their website: http://www.laflutedepan.com/front_us/intro2.swf

Indeed they do- well stocked... you could spend hours in that store... though it is not really a big place. GO THERE!

 

make sure your friend checks the hours for the Vandoren store before he decides to go over there. They're open about 5 hours a week, ha.

And I second the vote for La Flute de Pan

 

BAHAHA, yeah I forgot that Vandoren prefers holiday over work.

La Flute de Pan has 2 stores on Rue the Rome I believe the one on the left has a massive bookshelf of sax music (it's been 3 month and memory goes fuzzy )

prices are great since you can also get student discounts - 10% i got last time or was it 15%...again, my memory fails me.

they compliment each other quite well, if one doesn't have it, the other prob will.

La Flute de Pan... Vandoren was always a complete crap shoot. Just make sure you find the right one, which is a bit further down the road.
