So I have an opportunity to purchase one of these second hand. I love the light weight, the surprising comfort of the keywork, and the intonation. I think the flute might have some good lessons for me tonally as well. My question is how reliable is the mechanism? Will it need a lot of servicing and can any good tech perform repairs on it? How about pads? Do they last? Is it difficult to find replacement pad? Guo seems to have not updated their website since 2014? Are they still in business?
