Pardon I write with a translator. I hope is possible to be understood .

They have commented to me that sax tenor of CONN CHU is very good sax.
Nevertheless sax alto of CHU is not so good.
I would like that somebody that knew alto CHU y tenor CHU responds.
A difference of quality between the alto and the tenor of CHU exists?

Thank you very much

Thanks Dave
ÂżIs this valid for all the marks of saxs?
If Buescher alto Aristocrat is good sax, (for example)
Is good also a tenor or soprano of that time of Buescher?
You know some case in that this is not fulfilled?
I am player of the alto. I have some experience in good saxofones of the alto. I do not know the saxs tenors totally.

Thanks

The one thing that takes the Chu alto out of the top class for some players is that it feels a lot like the tenor. The action can be somewhat heavier than on other vintage altos.

My question is more general.
The quality of alto sax with the quality of tenor or soprano sax is always associate?
It is the associate quality always to all the types of saxs of the same model?

All CHU saxs are good?
All 6M saxs are good?
All PRE CHU saxs are good?
All mark VI saxs are good?
All Zephir saxsare good?
Independently of which he is alto, tenor, soprano or baritone?

You know some exception where the alto is good sax and the tenor is bad sax? (for example)

My excuses. I will regret all the life not attending the class of English language.

One good thing about the Chu (and the pre-Chu) is that they have a front F and the left hand pinky (small finger) keys are more like new horns. I have a Mark VI, Buescher TT, several Martins and my main player is a 1923 Conn gold plated Alto. One visual difference between a Conn Alto and Tenor is that the Altos have the microtuner.
