Does anyone know who made a sax branded Continental Colonial? The instrument in question has many earmarks of a Conn Pan Am (set screws, right side neck tightening screw, faux MOP rollers, etc), but it DOES NOT have the Mercedes Benz logo low C key guard.

Yes these are Conns for sure. Pretty much the same as the Pan-American line. Differs from a Conn: Not rolled tone holes, some aux keys not used, engraving not as fancy, no microtuner on altos and C mels, plating not as good, cheaper cases.
I have a Conn stencil tranny (Sherwood) that is one of the best altos I have ever owned. A Conn stencil is an excellent way to have a Conn on a budget. Styles follow the normal Conn models. Serial numbers usually start with a "P".
