Welcome to the forum and congratulations to a rare instrument!
This is an Adolphe Sax son instrument built between 1907 - 1928, most likely relatively early in this time span, the later ones had a different engraving - the engraving here resembles the style of the earlier Adolphe Sax father instruments...) THis saxophone was produced at the last Workshop that was bought by Selmer in 1928. The address is 84 Rue Myrha - the serial number could be somewhere in the 1xxxx range...
These instruments all have a larger bore and and dark sound, the mechanic is a bit outdated in comparison to their competitors (Couesnon, Buffet and Selmer) but they are masterful pieces of craftsmanship. The tuning in A=440Hz should be OK . A larger chambered mouthpiece would be good for those instrument - and with large I mean large... Enjoy the sax!

You're wrong about one this, it was not logo AS, it's seal made by Adolphe sax to identify this own Horn that he made, if you've got one little default of the seal, it's True Adolphe sax Horn, because it had voluntary developped one little default, to be sur that it's True Adolphe sax.

It has many "fake Adolphe sax" but it existed very very old fake Adolphe sax, Adolphe sax had exclusivity on sax during praticaly this own life but they're adolphe sax without AS seal and that is faking.

I talk about an expert of the story of Adolphe sax Horn and big collector and it said me that.

I don't know if it's totally True but it's interessant.

I've got my c soprano Adolphe sax and for you it's probable Horn by the son of Adolphe sax, before 1928, maybe 1910-1920.
