I play clarinet in a teacher wind ensemble but like every other ensemble in my life it's loud and louder. You'd think teachers would understand the importance of a balanced ensemble sound but NO. Plus we're playing a lot of contemporary music that really sound like drum corp or marching band arrangements.
In any case, I need the perfect mouthpiece that is LOUD but still within the legit category. I have some neck issues so high resistance is a 'no go' for me. I wish I could slam on a #4 and let it rip but alas I'm frail.
. On a side note, I don't want to hear about breathing and long tones etc.... We all know this will help but I play 4-5 hours and day. I need some gear solutions. Thanks
