Help identifying horn with no brand markings

I've been perusing facebook marketplace and came upon this sax. The seller says there is no brand etched on it and no serial number. To me the decorative etching and all the hardware looks like that of a selmer other than the fact the keys and key guards are silver. Would selmer have done stencil horns with no serial numbers? Or am I very bad at comparing and contrasting?

Myeah tough one. LIkely an asian-made Selmer knockoff, a dime a dozen.

No serial number.

Is there any country of mfr stamped anywhere on it ?
Oftentimes near the serial # area.

No - Selmer France doesn't make stencils.

All this is is an asian knockoff. if it plays (guaranteed to play by owner or $ back) it may be worth $200-250 tops, with a case. Not saying it is a POS, it may not be bad. But if impossible to identify wher eit came from, factory, it has no real market value.

If seller asking more, keep in mind for like $400-425 you can get a name-brand, used, play-shape alto for that these days....

Seller says there are no markings of any kind other than the floral etching shown in the picture. Listed at 250 but there are 2 keys not working that buyer would be responsible to fix. I was thinking if it was a true selmer it would be worth picking up and restoring, but that does not appear to be the case. The bell brace looks kind of sketchy as well. It is kind of held on by wire wrapped around the screw.

You've answered your own question. Or, do you just want to be assured that, yes, you are "very bad at comparing and contrasting"? I trust you'll leave this "2 keys not working that buyer would be responsible to fix" for someone else to worry about? Cheers...
