My EWI 4000s will not produce sound. I hooked up an amplifier and headphones. I hear nothing but a little static. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It has probably been sitting for about 1-2 years.

Mine sat for 20 years and did the same thing then I cleaned some of the electronics with rubbing alcohol.. sorry but I don’t really remember what I did but it did start working… I’ll probably put it up for sale. Maybe somebody will want it for parts?
so I guess this isn’t a very popular thread? Sorry it took four years to for somebody to answer you. But I guess this is not a topic of much interest.
