Got to be one of the worst movies i've ever seen.....:evil: Clint did little homework. I got a free ticket opening night thanks to 88.9 FM KTSU.....
Went to see "Bird", by myself....................
Then I sat through a very bad flick. It was nothing I expected. And it never got better!.
... Never mind id just read "Bird, The Legend of Charlie Parker" That was a great book. But Eastwood had no clue on who Bird was.
Only good part was him playing outside for a bunch of Jews at a reception party That was pretty cool, but very short......
Too bad Clint, the movie really sucked!...

What did I miss? I watched it again a few years later...
No better...! I couldn't wait for it to be over. .
Never could get into it. It was dark way too much. And sure did rain at lot. Over and over. Depressing! Not a very good way to portray the greatest sax player of the 20th centry. Sort'a reminded me of the rock opra movie years back called "Tommy". Just as bad!

"Round Midnight", and "Mo Better Blues" were tight
