Dear Doubling Double Reed-Fellows,
I found a used English Horn from Amati that would be in my price range (read - much lower priced than the usual cors). There's not a lot about them to be found on the net.
Does someone has some information about Amati English Horns (Or Lignatone, or B&H LaFleur which could be propably similar) ? Their Oboes seem to be from poor quality - but I played Amati saxes and clarinets that were really ok.
The seller isn't around the corner and I would not make a trip just to find an inferior instrument.
