Hi folks,

I got my Zoom H4n, and now I want to make recordings with my tenor
to post it here in the beginners/intermediate threat.

I 'm interested which of the onboard effects you use for tenor recordings?

And to be sure, I have to use the MTR mode?
Is it possible to use the on boards mics and in the same time the line-in for
playalongs? The manual says you could use either the mics or the line-in.

Recording saxophones with my Zoom H2n on Audacity I now use Kjaerhus (free) plug in effects. The preset reverb called 'vocal ambient' seems to work well for saxophone recorded at a distance of about 0.5m - I don't think you need to use other effects if you are aiming for a natural sound.
