Greetings,
As I browsed eBay today, I ran across a YTS-61 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Yamaha-YTS-61-P...ryZ16234QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).
Looks to be a nice horn, but I already have a -61 that I love. At first glimpse this seems to be the typical horn, but if you look at the picture which show the bow of the instrument, note that it is engraved. My beloved horn, on the other hand, doesn't have any engraving on the bow. The seller makes a comment that the horn is from 1978. Was this a transitional horn to the -62, or do I just own an oddball -61. Perhaps this is a "good" way to determine the age of some yamaha instruments (as I've come to dead with trying to do this (and I'm fine with that)).
Thanks!
-Dave
