It started long ago with Michael Lowenstern and his bass clarinet.

Then it was Rick Beato.

Now I'm watching TwoSetViolin and Vinheteiro. It's entertaining, if not educational.

It'll be 1am and I think I'll watch for "just five more minutes". Then it's 2:45.

I've been watching Chad LB on youtube for weeks now. I'll enjoy a recording, watch something educational try to play along and fail, and go back to listening. It's been monopolizing my Youtube time - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV17kvWvljT0Zw_5CZ4CFcA

Also, just gonna shoutout my Saxophonist Playlist, which is a great resource and listening time: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEoL3NQR10Z6oUKzc6IEy9K2sdmMAgLcE

I'm also about to start making videos! Dave Pollack is inspiring and has great content.

Live PD has a real excitement factor going on.
Typical Live PD scenario:

1. A car is stopped for a minor infraction (no lights, tag expired, etc.).

2. The driver has no license, no insurance, is impaired, has drugs in car, has an outstanding warrant.

Drugs found in pants? Response: "These aren't my pants."

This happens time after time - as if streets are filled with these types.

I watch it for the car chases.

It's not musically related but I stumbled across Professor Walter Lewin from MIT and his physics lectures. He teaches physics for sure, but in his demonstrations of the broad concepts, he makes it fun. Give him a try. If you have any kind of scientific curiosity I think you'll find him entertaining. How often have you thought of physics and entertainment in the same sentence. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...A023F30C3A7F7615FD27A02&view=detail&FORM=VIRE

On the other hand, I came across a video of the singer Jewel Kircher singing some of her hit songs at Woodstock 99. Just so sexy singing scat and so in the pocket on "Who Will Save Your Soul". Sigh. Pretty girl with a ton of talent. Grew up on a homestead in Alaska. Her dad does that show about Alaska backwoods people living off the land. What an interesting person she is.

I need to check out some of the others in this list. So far it's been a lot of Matt Stohrer for the tech, and Grace and Leo (together or individually) for entertainment.

One thing though, as a newby just learning to play I've got to keep telling myself that when you all advise us newcomers to find our voice I probably shouldn't decide I want to play my alto sounding like Leo P...

Dave Pollack
Better Sax
Leo P & Grace Kelly 2SAXY et al
Love Lowenstern too
When I want to nerd out can't get enough of Matt Stohrer

And for something completely different...Davie 504 (bass player) epico!
