Could be. The sure way to tell if it is an actual York made horn is to look for the spats around the tone holes.

The one I owned was not by Buescher (and did have the "spats" around the tone holes mentioned by Bruce). As nice-sounding a C-melody as any, I reckon. Cheers...

If it is a Buescher, it may not have the "Man on the Moon" gusset under the neck, but it WILL have the gusset under the bend....that is a tell tale sign and every Buescher stencil I've ever seen has it present.
