I have a York Artist Baritone Sax. The only other markings is the serial number 6188 on the lower back below the thumb rest. I've found some lists of serial numbers for York instruments made in Grand Rapids that would date the instrument rather old, but it seems that most of these instruments may have been brass, and possibly some of the woodwinds were stencils. Anyone have an idea of who actually made this sax and what it would be worth. Seems to be made of a high copper content and has the same York Artist logo that some baritone horns have made by York. Any Ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.
