I had my tech do some minor work on my Martin tenor, which was overhauled by Matt but which my guy had never looked at. When he brought it back to me last night he said something like: "who did the pads on this horn?...this is the best work I've seen." I think he was a bit happy to hear he didn't have the competition locally!

Bottom line: Matt's the real deal! :)

Re: Yet another Matt Stohrer cudo story!

I think you might mean kudos. It's Greek for praising high achievement.

čudo might be ok, too. It's Serbo-Croatian for marvel or wonder.

Kudos or cudos, both sound good to me.

Wow, excellent! Thanks for sharing this, Rory. That is exactly the kind of stuff I like to hear. My goal with padwork (my philosophy of which I could go on and on and on about) is longevity and stability, and hearing that this many years down the road the padwork is still the best your guy has seen is music to my ears.

The greatest contribution a person can give to there tech, is thanks for a job well done.

Most times we only know we did the job right becuase we dont here from that customer again until there instrument breaks next time

Kudos to the poster for complimenting and sharing matts work.

BE CAREFUL! Phonetically, its very close to another, much more "nasty" word, in that language:)
