I'm hoping you guys can help me identify my Link STM. I get stuck on the Theo Wanne chart.

I bought it new somewhere in the 82-84 time frame.

Box has Industrial Parkway address, no PO box.
Opening stamped on side, not shank.
Opening font size is 3.2mm height, 2.4mm width - I assume this is "large font".
Bore is .670", or 17mm. This may be slightly larger than from the factory, since I dropped it and bent the shank 25 years ago. I used progressively larger ratchet drive sockets to get it round again. (Hey, I was 18 years old, and it worked)
Body length is 100mm.
Here's where I get stuck. Chart says Wide tip is 21mm, normal tip is 18mm. Since the tip is tapered, my question is where is the tip measured? Mine measures 22mm at the center of the pad, 18mm at the very end.
It also has what I would call a smooth rollover, not step, baffle.

Wow, Thanks. So I have one of the good ones, eh? All this time I thought it was just a modern STM. Love it - NOT for sale!

I’ve been looking for another like mine with the very pronounced flat baffle. Yours doesn’t have the one that seems to work best for me but I’m sure it plays well. I’m still looking.

So, is this considered a "wide tip" or not? I'd still like to know where the tip is measured when using the Theo Wanne chart.
