YAS-875EX airy palm keys

I went to the local music store today and tried out the YAS-875EX in the gold and black lacquer. I found that the palm keys played pretty airy. These horns were straight out of the plastic wrap so it could've been because they haven't been broken in yet. Does any other yamaha custom users have this problem or was it just because they were new.
