I am new in saxophone, I got a yas 21 and it is very good condition, but I am not so sure if the lacquer is original. There is some orange peel around some tone holes

That's a beautiful YAS-21 you've got there, mluis.

I just checked my YTS-21 (formerly a school rental). It has no orange peel at all, but does have some pinkish deposit I'd not seen before. What's that?

The post pictured has been re-soldered which burned off some lacquer and corrosion has developed.
Thank you, 1saxman, for your reply. I've been doing some research to see if I can remedy this myself - I've found a few good articles about corrosion already. I do hope it's not "red rot" and the structure itself isn't failing in that area.
