So you mean to tell me that a 5 to 6 year old horn like this would sell for only about $400 less than new? I would have guessed much less than that. :scratch:

What would be the going price on a 5 to 6 year old 902 alto that has been used maybe for one year and stored for the rest? The condition would be, well, hardly touched.

How quickly would it drop in price if it had the normal wear and tear of a 5 or 6 year old horn? You don't see many of these for sale used anywhere so it's hard getting a comparable.
Nobody else wanting to chime in? I've found it rather difficult to gauge the normal selling prices of these horns as I really don't see them up for sale like I do other horns. Normally I can do some research on a horn and come up with a good feel of what one would sell for in good condition at a given age; and then mark up or down some for what I happen to be either buying or selling.
