I am interested in trying a Yani 880 tenor. If anyone knows of a special deal on a good example, please let me know. Cosmetic conditon is not really a factor, playing condition is.

Thanks in advance!

^^^ They're inexpensive and supposed to be very good aren't they? I have tried a more modern Yani, but I think it had set up issues. I am willing to try one again.

I've got a good European horn, a good American horn, -- the next step is a good Japanese horn. That should stop the GAS, at least for a while.

Yes the are very good. I have an early one that plays great. Good intonation, great keywork and a sound that is full and clear. I've played other Yani's and they all played good. I love the keywork. Very comfortable and everything is right where it needs to be.

I like mine .. it kept me from re-buying a MKVI .
Then I got a T902 and that completely sold me on Yani tenors .:D

I am glad no one is taking me up on my offer to buy their Yani. My GAS is waning and I am all the better for it! So there!!
