I was just offered a yanagisawa sax with reduced keywork. Didn't know they made them...
Obviously some kind of child sax... like Alpha by TJ.
Does anyone know anything about these saxophones?
It was quite a surprise to me!

I have seen the same style in a Buescher / Bundy . Big question is WHY ?? Get your chid a regular sax and you are done . This one would only take them so far .
More of a curiosity piece . They also make a sax with NO KEYS for practicing harmonics which can be done with a regular sax just holding down all the keys !

Yes it has the yani logo on the neck, engraved on the bell and stamped under the serial number.
I did not buy it. I don't have room for "collectible" items. But it was a fun piece to share with you guys.
Always fun to get more knowledge and read about saxophones that I didn't even knew existed.
