Hi all,

on the official Yamaha neck options page, they list M1, F1 and G2 with their curved variants. Anyone know the differences? I'm not talking about the "sound" and what not, more of the dimension and tuning tendencies.

I don’t know the dimensions, but on a yss-875ex the original G2 neck played best for me. Like you, I was curious about the other necks and found them cheap, so I had a lot of time to try them. Eventually I sold both the M1 and F1 necks. Can’t remember exactly all the differences, but I was quite sure I liked the original neck much better. Maybe they work better on the older yss-875s.
