Greetings,

I need a new marching horn for next year's season. I want to avoid taking my selmer outside at all costs, so logically I search Craigslist and my local shop for some used tenors. I noticed a Yamaha Advantage YTS-200ADII, which was lightly used and is listed for $975. I've had good experiences with Yamaha instruments (I own a 675 Soprano, which I love) and I always enjoy playing the 62 and Custom Z model horns. My question is; is the 200ADII worth it for that price? What makes it different to the YTS-23 or YTS-26?

I would be using the horn exclusively for marching and as a backup horn.

I believe the only difference between the YTS26 and YTS200ADII is the case. the 26 has the old wood case, 200AD has a plastic case, same latches I think.
