I have just bought a wurlitzer c melody mouthpiece and am wondering who made them?
Given that all the wurlitzer saxes I've seen are stencils I assumed the mouthpieces were too.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Probably a Buescher or Conn. Any pictures?

Conn C melodies were the regular style. Only the Tenor and Soprano had the tuner on the mouthpiece. Another possibility would be Babbitt in Elkhart. The Wurlitzer I had came with a mouthpiece with a metal band on the shank.

Looks like a Goldbeck to me, but I'm not really sure. Neither Buescher or Conn made metal mouthpieces like that.
