So for those interested... They discontinued making this excellent product and replaced it with basically the same this, but more modern styling, and increased the price from about $80.00 to about $120.00
Old Model was the C236 deluxe alto sax gig bag
New Model is the C236x...
The guy at Protec told me these new ones Just came in last week and are not even in stock yet with the major distributors like WWBW and Sam Ash etc.
This is what companies constantly do. Discontinue a model, superficially redesign it, and drastically increase the price....
