For sale on eBay UK, starting at £99.00. It's described as playing well but.... am I missing something?

That's metal, it's pretty easy to clean! On the other hand, is it a crack at tip and an other one right in the middle of the body???

That crack is very nasty ( cleaning and, if at all possible repair it will destroy any possible collector’s value, if this thing is interesting for anyone is “ as is” ) although it may only be on the plating alone and not through the metal under it. I doubt this thing has been played in a very long time. Having said this , I have payed on a couple of very old mouthpieces and they did play.

The guy says it plays great, maybe it does, I wouldn't want to blow it. I don't know what you would have to do to it to get it in that shape. It looks as if you would end up with a mouthful of metal shards. Maybe the owner posts here and can add some history.

appearances can be deceiving but....those images look decidedly nasty....and the risk....not worthy of the taking....IMHO

Mouthpieces are strange entities - they can take heaps of abuse BUT....in some aspects...one tiny flaw will render it useless.
