Worthwhile deal at Woodwind and Brasswind

Hello All, I just wish to alert forum readers that the US mail-order "giant" Woodwind and Brasswind is offering Yamaha YTS-62s at a "closeout" deal of $1799. Please note that I am not affiliated with this company at all. I just wish to confirm that my sax arrived today and appears to be the 62II series with the G1 neck. As I post this, I have not yet played it but it looks to be absolutely spiffing new.

P.S.My alias WindString refers to the fact that I am primarily a guitarist but in truth am a frustrated saxophonist.:cool:

I do agree that the WWBW deal was a bit hard to find, given that the YTS62II is still listed in parallel at its usual price... I have now played the instrument and it is great, certainly far better than I am as a player. I will not be able to blame it for my lack of skill or progress...;). Parenthetically, I should add that the sax has the imprint "YTS-62" and that there is no "II" added as a suffix. However, the presence of the G1 neck and the "YAMAHA" printed over the neck-receiver screw strongly suggests this is the real McCoy (apologies to Mr Tyner) second-generation YTS-62.
