Someone is making saxophone from wood, everything from wood, hand made, claimed to be in tune and unique sound.

This same topic and example was posted not too long ago. It is likely an Asian (I believe Thailand) made "novelty" item at best, but pretty as a display.

The guy said its guaranteed playable. I dont have the link as he also doesnt have a website. These pics were sent to me by a friend and I managed to get the contact person.

If anyone interested I will forward his email for you. He told me he will send a video of this horn being played. I am too interested with this and maybe I want to buy one just for collection.

He told me that it needs a month to make 1 horn so its a custom job and purely hand made.

Just dont break it hehehe, its not brass =) Once you drop it, its history

It can be a nice collective item, but if it's made exclusively from wood, then it won't be playable for too long, the wood parts will eventually warp

actually i was wondering and i happy about this sax.
you know mjs10 that this sax is not for furniture ornaments or room decoration but this sax thats called "saxwood" is a purely an music instrument not not not just furniture ornament or room decoration. and "saxwood" can be fullplay with the other instrument in a concert.
and you know mjs10 if you want to know about the sound this saxwood, i will sent some live video of saxwood with some kind of saxwood that are in alto, tenor, bariton and In Bbes.
