Hello everybody. I've been thinking a lot lately about why i play the sax and what really got me so interested in it. Everytime i do, i keep returning to the same guy, my High School band director John Cross. This man took an interest in me at a young age and that really inspired me to do something with myself. At the time, i was some-what a loser (to be nice). After he invited me to go see him perform a few times and even allowing me to perform with him, i knew that i playing and performing was what i wanted to do, and he supplied me with the knowledge and instrument to do so.

So the question i pose to you is who was your inspiration to play?

Well it would have to be the band director at the high school I graduated from. He was a young guy and he was really good at saxophone, which really inspired me to strive to become a music educator one day.
