I looking for vintage tenor sax.
I want dark and warm soft sound not brught.
so which one is dark?

1. COnn 10 NON rolld tone hole. lacqure 1949
2. Buescher aristocrat. lacqure 1941
3. Conn wonder silver rolled ton hole. 1914

Which one is darker?

please answer.

That Conn would be a Wonder model and not a Chu if from 1914. I guess if I had to choose Dark from those, I would go with the Buescher. Overall though of the list, I would pick the 10M. For Dark I prefer the Martins which can be found in the same price range or less. I have a CommII and III and they are great.

1914 sounds like a patent date, not to be confused with the date of manufacture, and I believe it is present on horns made in the 20's and possibly 30's, so you could be confusing the two.

Well...any of those would be a good choice, actually. I would say the Conns are actually a bit wider in the low overtones that an Aristocrat is, IMHO. But any of those are good options. Probably the older Conn is gonna speak a bit softer and more breathily than the other two...

BTW...rolled holes or no rolled holes....that doesn't effect the sound in any way.
