They were very popular years ago when Mr. Winslow sold them. I use one on tenor. Nice.

I know a couple people that play and like them. Just too damn bulky for me. Plus, I really like my Vandoren M/O ligs for alto and clarinet.

And... Not sure if you're aware of this, but those "shock absorbers" can be removed and put in different configurations. Careful though. Those little retaining springs (the little circular things) can go flying into the carpet monster from hell.

+1 on the M/O one-screw for both alto & tenor--though it doesn't fit the larger tenor pieces, like my Metalite or Robusto.
