I am waiting for these Conn Tranny horns to get to MKVI pricing. At that point I MIGHT be persuaded to sell mine.

Transitional model Conns or perhaps my Conn Bass. The straight neck C melody is good but best has to be my Conn Tranny bari by a large margin.
I own 6 Conns, 5 of them restored and fully functinal (Csop, curved sop, alto, Cmel, and bari). Considering all of them, I'd have to say that my Tranny 12M is my favorite to play.

Sounds like none of you have played a 30m? That'd get my vote for "best", if there can be such a thing.

;) :D

I briefly owned a silver plated Connqueror alto: I don't know about best, but it was too good for me. I'd love to try a 30M some day, but I fear the prices are going to continue to skyrocket.

Anyone else have a cage on their tranny like mine?
My coffin will have a spot for my tranny. A cage you ask? No. What I have is a death grip on my tranny. A grip that money will never loosen:D
