I don't want this to sound like ' what is the best mouthpiece for soprano' ..but rather what are the GOATS, the pieces,. similar to the Mark VI for saxes, that are considered the most consistent and, most sought after, even most expensive because of it..... asking for a friend if my wife asks. :D

I’d pick Selmer S-80. I’ve had Soloists and other Selmer mouthpieces but I always go back to the S-80D that came with my Mark VI.
If Kessler recommends a Selmer Concept it must be good. I‘ve been playing one of his Custom tenor mouthpieces that’s the best hard rubber mouthpiece I’ve had in a long time and I’ve got some good vintage Tone Edges.

I echo this: the good ol' Selmer S-80 D. I can play a beautiful Villa-Lobos Fantasia or swing and project, if needed.

I briefly flirted with a '80s-era BARI soprano mouthpiece (a la Branford), but it didn't have the control the S80 D affords.

My 62 via coro Soprano Planet !
I've also play a longtime on an old 68 Bari .
And many others : Selmer, Vandoren, Lebayle, Brancher, LinkTE and clones : Ponzol, Jody...
But this SP Has closed the search.
As good for classical as for jazz.

I'd like to say the very open Selmer Super Sessions, but as they won't make them anymore it's tough to put them at the top. Generally, for questions like this, it's what the top soprano pros use; and that's probably all over the place. Not as simple as Link for tenor, Meyer for alto. There just isn't one for soprano. Yet.

I found a common way to get an answer for this question is to look at the replica market and what people are trying to recreate to garner sales from the most sought after pieces.

In the case of soprano, I've primarily seen just two pieces with a focus: Otto Link Slant Signature and the Selmer Scroll Shank

I think a better question is to ask what other soprano players on sotw prefer and why? There is no magic bullet.

Exactly this.

"Which is the best?" will get you about as many different answers as there are users on this site, but if you want to know which are actually most sought after, check out Retro Revival and similar makers to see which mouthpieces they claim to emulate.

Honestly super curious about these…
They are seriously great for Selmer and Yanagisawa sops, but not as compatible with my Borgani, else I would have stayed on them when I switched horns. Great tone, solid intonation, and broad dynamic range.

+1 for Super Sessions!

And I'll add that, in addition to Super Sessions, soprano V16s might get to the point of Alto Meyers or Link Tenors. Maybe neither of them fit the OP's "GOAT" or "cream" expectations, but they might get there.
