it is spectacular and value can only be judged by the one who offers the most. I see its value and unicity but no way I would spend that kind of money for it, so, it would have to be someone else's

value of anything is all down to what people want to pay for any given object. Yesterday I saw an antique program where two bronzes from the '20 by a well known sculptor were auctioned for 1000£ , in the same auction a weird biscuit tin from 1900 was auctioned for the same amount of money. Even if this is , without any doubt, a piece of American art its value its purely speculative.
