What's this song?

It's a rock/pop song from the latish seventies (I think - could be wrong), and the film clip featured a bari solo by a short man in a white jacket. It may have been a Phil Collins song, but I really don't remember. Can anyone alleviate my frustration?

Thanks in anticipation,

Stefan

Not much to go on. Could it have been by the UK band Matt Bianco with the late, great Ronnie Ross on baritone ?

Have a search for Matt Bianco (and Phil Collins too I suppose) on YouTube and see what you find.

Can you hum it for us? :)
Wasn't that Carribbean Queen by Billy Ocean?
Theme from Fantasy Island?

Thanks Bill, but no. It's along those lines though - one of my first thoughts was Billy Ocean's When the Going Gets Tough, but that's a tenor solo, but it must be said that the bari player I'm thinking of vaguely resembles Danny DeVito singing (?) backing vocals in that particular clip!

Unfortunately no - if I could hum it I think I'd know what it is. It's one of those annoying cases of having a vague impression of something from the past without being able to remember any details (apart from a short plumpish bari player in a white suit). I suppose this is what you've got to expect once you're over fifty.................

The suit seems similar, but nothing else fits!
Danny DeVito did pretend to play Bari in one of the Videos, I think it was with Arnold for the film Twins, they both wore light colored (white?) suits.
The bari player comes downstage, out in front of the band - this much I remember!
