I have a Beuscher tenor sax. The serial number is 404242 and just below another number 1040. The sax does not have any engraving whatsoever apart from the word Beuscher on the pinky key. Anybody have any idea if this was a good year or model. Cheers

Your instrument is from the 60s after the Selmer buy out. Although there is little collector interest, some of these can play very well. Pics would be cool.

around 1964 and is a selmer buyout horn but they play very well and are built like a brick s*"t house

Not unless it says 400 on the bell. Again, pics would help.
