As Agent 27 says, the style is imprortant. No use learning all jazz standards if you aren't going to be playing jazz.

However for pleasing many audiences these are good:

Pink Panther
Summertime
Tequila
One Step Beyond
Oh When the saints Go Marching In

For others you may need Giant Steps vey fast

Interesting how my 7 year old daughter came up with Pink Panther for a first choice the same way Pete Thomas did. She is showing promise I guess
