2 months now, and my old college buddy and I are about 1500 miles apart so we decided to do these.

It is David Wright on the top and I (Charles Gray aka Graysax on the bottom)

There are about 9 more but these are a couple of the better ones.

Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful sound. How did you keep time? Metronome click track?
Super nice! From my experience, the intonation is the hardest part, and this is spot on!

Thanks guys, so glad you are all enjoying it!!! Thanks for the feedback!

So, just to let you know, in the next few days I should be finishing another video with Dave and while I know Classical Saxophone is not for everybody, I also know there is a-lot of straight ahead jazz too out there. This next one will be non classical yet not jazz, but more fun, and familiar. Lets just say while I will not reveal yet what piece it is, I can say I got the arrangement from Don Stevens from the Nuclear Whales Saxophone Orchestra (If you can't remember them you can see them on YouTube).

It's a whole involved process where the short of it is that we record audio in garageband then our Iphones for video then Divinci Resolve for putting it all together.

Outta be against the law to have that much fun!!

Very nice! I'm old enough to remember that tune was used to introduce the TV news... unfortunately, I'm so old I can't remember if if was a local or national newscast!!

Of course, it didn't have the excellent embellishments though!!

Dave and I are in the process of trying to go more difficult musically and video editing wise to keep it interesting. Being over 1500 miles apart there has been a lot of texting going on.
