A friend of mine has a vintage Dukoff Hollywood mouthpiece and wants a new lig as he doesn't like the Rovner he's currently using. Anyone have suggestions?

And do ligs that fit metal Links fit the Dukoff?

Bob,
There are inexpensive modern ligatures that your friend can choose from. I can offer you another option.
I have an original Dukoff Hollywood tenor lig here if your friend is interested.
$150 including shipping in the U.S.

Considering a Brilhart COPY ligature costs much more than that, it's a nice deal for the guy looking for an original 1940s Dukoff Hollywood ligature. The ligature is in great shape with the original screws.

I have a Dukoff tenor Super power chamber mpc. At the half way point of the table to the top rounded top part of the mouthpiece, it measures approximately 0.83" (Can vary by a few hundredths depending on where you locate the jaws of the caliper. Then at the same half-way table location, if you rotate the jaws 90 degrees, it also measures about 0.83" from side-to-side. If your friend's mouthpiece has similar dimensions, he can use an HSS1 Daddario Soprano H lig like I am using. This lig still has a couple of turns left when tight, but can open up quite a bit for a larger bodied piece.
