Can anybody tell me what happened with my SA80 (#331***)? I got it this year and it was absolutely new (but it is secondhand horn of course- it was made in 1982) with smooth silver cover, but after a couple of month it get covered with a million little scratches, so I think it was relacquered (i mean resilvered) :? I find this horn with a not very good sound (I try Balanced Action and SML Gold Medal - they have more big and fat sound), what is the cause ? Will the instrument have better sound after some years of playing?
