Check this pearl silver alto for sale:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Borgani-Ma...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
They admit to the thumb hook being broken and a pearl that came off. They supposedly have the hook (broken piece or new one not specified) and the pearl. Now take a look at the low B rod. See anything interesting? How about the Bow?

This is a seller with no feedback...watch out!!!https://www.ebay.com/itm/Borgani-Macerata-alto-saxophone-pearl-silver-finish-original-case-neck/401655315942?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Well it's also a non-J horn, with the plastic thumb hook, are these the "cheaper" ones that WWBW was selling?

See if you can ID the other problems on this horn. Clues already given. I don't think you'd be "jubilant" if you purchased this.

This is a pre-Jubilee horn, notice the older round logo on the bell. Probably a good horn but no way it should be sold for the same money as a Jubilee.

Seller never says it's a Jubilee.

There are some point screws with brass nuts on 'em....replacement ? or did Borgani do that ?

The Bow..not following, W...do you think this is an after-factory plating job ?

Yes Borgani used locking nuts on shoulder less point screws (just like King), I have them on my tenor.

absolutely, the retaining nut is kosher and it has been fro a very long time on Borgani which adopted it since the ‘70
