Actually, if you search for "Mayer", you will get about 26 threads. And except for a few that mention "John Mayer", most are about Meyer mouthpieces. Is SOTW great, or what?

my advise is to buy a good one (whatever that means)

Thank you! I keep meaning to buy a doorstop and I always forget and meantime I've got this really horrible mouthpiece that came with one of the asian saxes I've been buying sitting in a drawer somewhere doing bugger all - a perfect match!

For the record, I wasn't being my usual smartass self, I was trying to be helpful and pointing our new friend in the right direction. (Which could also me interpreted as me being my usual know it all self.)
