Leslie ann

Yeah, there's a whole book of transcriptions of Sanborn tunes out there that has that song in it. He apparently wrote it for Lesley Ann Warren who he was dating at the time. Don't have the ISBN or anything on me but it shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll rifle through my books and see if I can find it for you. I originally got it when a teacher told me I wasn't practising enough so I should get a book of 'easy' tunes and work on them. This was the book she recommended! Most of the notes are off the top of the horn so I usually transpose down an octave.

Oops!

Sorry, I just had a look at my book ( Hal Leonard Artist Transcription series ) and it doesn't have that tune on it. In desperation I looked around, checked out Aebersold. They have a Sanborn book too and it doesn't have that tune either. That's what I get for firing of at the lip as I enter my C.R.A.F.T. years.:(
