Wanted: Band Arrangement for "Merry Christmas Baby" - Otis Redding version
It's coming up to Christmas and the covers band that I play want to do a Soul/R&B version of "Merry Christmas Baby".
I've got a midi file of the 1997 Hanson recording which is OK but not great. I've also got a sketch arrangement of Chuck Berry's version, but this is more bluesy and less soul than we want to do.
The best versions I have heard are one by Otis Redding and another by a Dutch singer featuring Candy Dulfer.
Can anyone help me with a band arrangement for this ?
